Games: - Pentominoes 2.0 -=- Try to place 12 pentomino pieces on a variety of boards without any overlap. New version includes 3-D graphics, a board editor, and over 90 boards. Color & B/W. System 7.0 or later. - Jotto ][ 1.2 -=- A simple word game, guessing five and six letter words and getting feedback as to how many letters are correct. (Similar to MasterMind, only with words.) Color & B/W. System 7.0 or later. - Devil's Cubes 1.0.1 -=- A simple cube rotation puzzle, trying to arrange four cubes so the colors on the top, bottom, front, and back sides are all different. Color & B/W. System 6 or later. - Ghost 1.0 -=- Players take turns adding a letter to build a word; first player to add a letter which finishes a word loses the round! Play against other people and/or against computer players at a variety of skill levels. Color & B/W. Utilities: - Voyeur 1.1.1 -=- A no-frills file viewer (raw hex and ascii data). Also capable of changing type and creator information and fork lengths. System 6 or later. - Menu Fixer 1.0 -=- A programmer's utility which checks for (and also fixes) discrepancies between MENU resource IDs and internal menu IDs. System 6 or later. - Chef 1.1 -=- A fun utility to convert any text file to mock Swedish, like the Swedish chef on the Muppets. Supports plain text and RTF files. Supports drag and drop. System 6 or later. - Fudd 1.1 -=- A small utility to convert any text file to Elmer Fudd talk, like the character of the same name on the U.S. cartoon "Bugs Bunny." Supports plain text and RTF files. Supports drag and drop. System 6 or later. - WAREZ 1.1 -=- A small utility to convert any text file to WAREZ talk. Supports plain text and RTF files. Supports drag and drop. System 6 or later. - Dialectic 1.2 -=- A general text conversion utility, translating text through a "dialect" filter of your choice. Current dialects: Chef, Fudd, WAREZ, Ubby (underwater), Olde (Middle English), Op, Morse Code, Pig Latin, and Rot-13. Supports plain text, RTF, and Teachtext "read-only" files. Supports drag and drop. System 4.1 or later. - Kant Generator Pro 1.3.1 -=- Generate pseudo-Kantian doctrine based on context-free grammar and Kant's vocabulary in the _Critique of Pure Reason_. Also allows you to build and test your own context-free language modules. System 7.0 or later. - Brailler 0.61ß -=- A Braille text editor. Supports brailler-style typing (six keys and a space bar) as well as on-the-fly translation into grade 1 or 2 American Standard Braille. System 7.0 or later. System extensions: - Startup Screen Picker 1.2 -=- An INIT (and startup application) which will randomly pick a startup screen to be displayed at system startup. Takes no memory after INIT time. System 6 or later. - Shutdown FX 2.1 -=- On shutdown and/or restart, this INIT will clear your screen with one of over 60 graphic effects. Includes a startup application for system 7 users, and a control application to control options, install and disable fades, and preview fades without shutting down. System 6 or later. - Sleep Deprivation 1.1 -=- An INIT which will clear your screen with a cool graphic effect every time your Mac goes to sleep. 50 effects in all. Requires a Mac that can go to sleep (Powerbook, Duo, etc). System 6 or later. - Fade Me 1.1 -=- On restart or shutdown, this will fade all attached screens to black. Requires a Mac with gamma (any color Mac except Powerbooks). System 6 or later. - Darth Fader 1.0 -=- Your Mac will fade in and out quickly whenever it beeps. A cool effect which requires a Mac with gamma (see above). System 6 or later. - Mousebroken 1.0.1 -=- A control panel giving you more (or less) control over your mouse. Comes with over a dozen mouse modules, from which you can choose how your mouse will (mis)behave. System 6 or later. - Final Chance 1.1.1 -=- On shutdown, this will bring up a dialog box with a random quote and a chance to exit to the Finder instead of shutting down. System 6 or later. - Go Sit In The Corner 1.0 -=- Your mouse will jump to a corner of the screen after a specified amount of time/inactivity. Fully configurable control panel. System 6 or later. - Menu Enabler 1.0 -=- Allows you to select ANY menu item, even disabled ones. Obviously, use with caution. System 6 or later. Mouse system extensions: - Gravity Mouse 1.1 -=- Your mouse will occasionally be uncontrollably affected by gravity. System 6 or later. - Ghost Mouse 1.1 -=- Your mouse will disappear once you stop moving it. System 6 or later. - Stoned Mouse 1.0 -=- Your mouse will move discretely instead of continuously, an effect which I find breathtakingly disconcerting. System 6 or later. - Crooked Mouse 1.0 -=- Your mouse will move at a 45 degree angle counter-clockwise from direction the user thought they were moving it.
